Enriching Lives: Geriatric Health in a Changing World

On behalf of the 2024 Scientific Planning Committee for the Canadian Geriatrics Society (CGS), it is with great excitement we announce that registration for the Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is now open.

At this year’s meeting participants will be able to:

  • explore the psychological challenges faced by older adults and strategies for promoting mental well-being;

  • incorporate the impact of environmental shifts on physical and mental health, and healthcare access in the care of older adults; and

  • appraise the role of artificial intelligence in improving diagnosis, treatment, and overall care for older adults.

The educational program is primarily designed for geriatricians, family physicians, and other allied health professionals who care for older adults and are interested in geriatric health care. The program is also designed for medical students and other health professional students, as well as medical residents.
